I’m not a “glass half full, glass half empty” kinda person,
I’m an “I’ve got a glass, what can I do with it?” kinda person! I don’t need to think “out of the box”, I just design a new box when need be.
Hi there, I’m Pip
I’m from Africa, which gives me the advantage of being able to adapt, make a plan, do with what I have on hand, think on my feet whilst navigating the African way of life, sparse water, and searing sun!
I am currently living in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, after living in South, Central, and East Africa.
I began my design life back in the pre-Macintosh days when typesetting was a unique job on a Linotronic system. Where Letraset, the smell of darkroom chemicals, NT cutter, eyeglass, and a waxer made paste-up a craft. Sitting in front of my first Apple Mac (a late 80’s LC) was the start of my Mac journey through repro houses, print factories, and design studios in the art of graphic design. Thankfully Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign allow me to now sit anywhere listening to the birds, smelling the roses
(stroking my cat) whilst balancing my Macbook on my lap. Whoop whoop for technology!
