Habari, karibu Tanzania
Umoja ni nguvu. - Unity is strength.
This warm, welcoming country welcomes you with open arms and hearts. As the Kiswahili says, “The roaring lion kills no game,” this silent but beautiful country is rich in culture, heritage, stunning flora and fauna, and of course the Serengeti, Mount Kili and the spice island of Zanzibar.
Dar es Salaam is a vibrant city that is growing rapidly but still vibrates with the rhythm of the rich Swahili culture. Nothing is impossible and everything is respected, a refreshing and wonderful outlook to embrace.
Tanzanians are incredibly warm and welcoming and have this deep respect for each other and their traditions. The spirit of "ubuntu" is a big deal here, which is all about the idea that we’re all connected and should be kind and generous to one another.

Alongside, next to and in the streets of Dar
Our Hood
Living in a vibrant Dar Street and unlearning our Western concept of how life should be lived has been a revelation. Events take place in the street with the whole community involved. No high walls, no electric fences, no conspicuous consumerism!
